CBS Republican Debate

It's always fun to comment on the debates, and this one is no exception. Here's how I saw the results tonight:

First of all, I thought Newt did the best. Number one, he's a master debater. In my humble opinion, he would be Obama's worst nightmare in a nationally televised debate. (Or any other debate for that matter). It seems that with each debate he seems to be pulling ahead of the opposition; mainly because he sticks to the questions asked, offers what he would do if he were president in comparison to the present administration, and lastly, he doesn't take any B.S. from the commentators!
***
Rick Perry seemed to redeem himself, and proved to be quite witty! (He stole the show on Letterman last night!) He may not be the greatest debater, but he's proved he can create jobs! And if he could do for the nation what he's done in Texas, then would he be such a bad choice?
***
Romney continues to "charm" many Republicans into believing he's the only one who could defeat Obama. I say he couldn't even beat John McCain the last time around for the Republican nomination, so how the hell can he beat Obama? Just sayin'...
***
Cain seemed unsure and unsteady tonight compared to his other appearances. Perhaps the sexual misconduct allegations are beginning to weigh heavy now.
***
John Huntsman, why is he even running as a Republican?
***
I like Rick Santorum, but he never really gets a real chance to promote his views, so most of America won't even know how good of a president he would make. (although I didn't really agree with him tonight concerning his views on Afgahnistan)
***
Michelle Bachmann held her own on foreign policy tonight. But it doesn't seem like the American people want to really give her a chance. (Her numbers really never go up)
***
Ron Paul...he's a very different bird. He has a strong view on monetary policy, with which I totally agree. But I don't like his stand on Israel or his bizarre ignorance of the danger of Iran.
***
Two debates in the last few days...how many more can we take? lol!
